| Released on 14 October 2014 BAGHDAD : Human casualties due to the explosion that took place in Kadhimiya holy city climbed up to reach 21 deaths and 60 injuries. BAGHDAD : The explosion was heard al-Jadida area of southern Baghdad without identifying the reasons behind this explosion or the casualties it caused. BAGHDAD : The MP, Ahmed al-Khafaji, of Badr Parliamentary Bloc was killed in the explosion of the car bomb that took place in Abdul Muhsin al-Kadhmi square at the entrance of Kadhimiya holy city. |

BAGHDAD : The Ministry of Interior denied the reports over the eruption of the armed clashes between the ISF (Iraqi Security Forces) and the IS (Islamic State) terrorists near Baghdad International Airport. The spokesperson of the MoI, Saad Maan, stated "The reports over these clashes are groundless and Baghdad is completely secured." TIKRIT : The IS (Islamic State) terrorists targeted the volunteers in Awainat area of southern Tikrit to kill 2 of them and injure 9 others.

Released on 14 October 2014 KANDAHAR : Residents of the Khakrez district of southern Kandahar province accused security forces of killing 6 members of a family, including women and children, in a mortar fire incident. HELMAND : A district education officer was killed along with a teacher in a roadside bombing in southern Helmand province. QALAT : One policeman was killed while 4 other sustained injuries in the roadside bombing. LOGAR : 6 police officers were killed in an attack on a police post in Baraki district of Logar Province. KABUL : 2 civilians were killed and 3 others injured in a roadside bombing in Kabul.
URUZGAN : One policeman and 3 militants were killed in a clash. The firefight was touched off by an insurgent attack on a check-post in Kala Khor area.
