BAGHDAD

(1) 03 Oct, Mashtal, Suicide Bomb
In Baghdad’s eastern Mashtal neighborhood at least 3 people were killed and 10 wounded by a suicide bomber.

(2) 03 Oct, al-Amel, Suicide Bomb
A suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew up himself, near a popular market in al-Amel area, southwest of Baghdad, killing 6 people and wounding 16 others.

(3) 03 Oct, Sabe al-Bour, IED
An IED exploded near a popular market in Sabe al-Bour area, in northern Baghdad, killing 3 persons and wounding 7 others.

(4) 03 Oct, Western Baghdad, IED
An IED detonated near a garage for taxis and buses and a tent providing refreshments to passers-by as part of a Shi'ite religious ritual, killing at least 4 people and wounding 18.

(5) 02 Oct, Husseinya Rashidiya, IED
An explosion hit a popular market in Husseinya Rashidiya area, in northern Baghdad, killing 2 persons and injuring 4 others.

(6) 02 Oct, Hayy Euphrates, IED
An IED exploded near a shops in Hayy Euphrates area, southwest of Baghdad, killing 1 person and wounding 6 others.

(7) 02 Oct, Basmaya, IED
An IED exploded in the Industrial Neighborhood in Basmaya area, southeast of Baghdad, killing 2 people and wounding 9 other with several injuries.

 

ANBAR

(1) 02 Oct, al-Nassaf, IED
An IED exploded in a main road in al-Nassaf area in western Fallujah, while bomb squad forces were trying to dismantle it, killing 1 policeman and wounded 2 others severely.

 

NINAWA

(1) 01 Oct, Nineveh, Mortar
Several mortar shells were fired by ISIS militants targeting the Turkish troops in Camp Zilkan north of Mosul. The attack also targeted fighters of al-Hashd al-Watani, but the bombardment did not cause any losses.

 

KIRKUK

(1) 01 Oct, Southwest of Kirkuk, Kidnapping
ISIS militants kidnapped 17 civilians on Saturday for attempting to flee areas controlled by the terrorist organization southwest the province of Kirkuk.
