Robbers boarded and attacked a passenger boat which was carrying passengers from Abonnema, a community in the area to Soku. Before the robbers escaped with laptops, phones, money and other valuables, they killed one of the occupants and threw him into the water. A corpse was later recovered and deposited in an unknown morgue.
