An unknown merchant vessel was approached by a blue hulled speedboat with 6 people on board. As the suspicious vessel approached to within 2 cables, the on board security team fired warning shots. The security team alleged that the occupants of the speedboat returned fire before departing.

An unknown number of armed pirates attacked an inland motor tanker. The ODS(Operation Delta Safe) Joint Military Force were able to intervene. Following an exchange of fire between the pirates and the ODS, the pirates escaped.
