0800UTC  | 30 March  |  Posn: 04-01.00N 006-48.00EE | 11NM east of Brass Terminal, Nigeria

A bulk carrier has been attacked whilst underway 11NM east of Brass Terminal. 4 armed pirates managed to board the vessel and kidnap 5 crew members, one being the Captain, before escaping.
