(2) Incident Type : BOARDED | Vessel Type : PRODUCT TANKER
2215UTC | 24 May | Posn: 01-43.10N 101-25.80E | Dumai Anchorage, Indonesia

2 robbers were able to board an anchored tanker at Dumai Anchorage. The robbers who were armed with machetes, were spotted by duty crew conducting routine rounds. The alarm was raised and the crew mustered. Upon seeing the alerted crew, the robbers made their escape with stolen items of ship's property.

(3) Incident Type : BOARDED | Vessel Type : CHEMICAL TANKER
1600UTC | 28 May | Posn: 02-49.9N 105-17.4E | Southwest of Anambas Island, Malaysia

6 robbers with weapons managed to board a chemical tanker whilst underway 26nm south west of Anambas Island. The robbers stole cash and items of personal jewelery. Upon being discovered they escaped. No crew members were harmed during the incident.
