A robber managed to board a tanker whilst anchored in Takoradi Anchorage. When duty crew spotted the robber at the accommodation entrance, the robber escaped by jumping overboard with personal electrical items. A boat with 1 person onboard was also spotted on the tanker's starboard side.

0340UTC | 03 September |  Posn: 04-52.36N 001-45.00W | Takoradi Anchorage, Ghana

An LPG tanker was boarded and robbed at anchor at Takoradi Anchorage. Duty officer was reported and raised the alarm. Upon hearing the alarm, the robbers escaped with paint drums.

1945UTC | 02 September | Posn: 22-14.08N 091-44.53E | Chittagong Alpha Anchorage, Bangladesh

4 robbers armed with long knives boarded an anchored bulk carrier during cargo operations. The duty crew carrying out routine rounds spotted the robbers on the forecastle and raised the alarm. Upon hearing the alarm the robbers escaped with ship's stores.
