An anchored bulk carrier was boarded by several robbers armed with knives and crow bars at Conakry anchorage. The robbers managed to steal items of property from 3 crew members. They also damaged ship's windows and property before escaping.

A supply vessel was approached by a speed boat with 10 armed men on board. The speed boat was hiding behind a fishing trawler before making its sudden approach towards the supply vessel 4.5nm north east of Bonny fairway buoy. The embarked security team on board the supply vessel opened fire on the speedboat and aborted the approach.
