(1) Incident Type : BOARDED | Vessel Type : TUG BOAT 5 robbers in 2 wooden boats approached and boarded the rig whilst being towed by a tug boat in Singapore Straits, 5.9nm southeast of Tanjung Piai. The Master of the tug boat spotted the robbers, raised the alarm and notified the local authorities. The robbers escaped after hearing the alarm. Vessel and crews reported safe and nothing was stolen.
