(1) Incident Type : HIJACK | Vessel Type : PASSENGER BOAT A passenger boat was hijacked whilst underway in Keme Ebiama creeks, Bayelsa State. The pirates chased and fired at the passenger boat before managing to board. Once onboard the pirates robbed the passengers of their valuables and then hijacked the boat. During this incident 3 passengers were injured by gunshots and several other passengers suffered machete wounds.
