(1) Incident Type : SUSPICIOUS APPROACH | Vessel Type : CARGO VESSEL
1905UTC | 07 December | Posn: 02-32.00N 007-01.00E | South of Port Harcourt, Nigeria

A vessel was approached 32nm Southeast of Akpo terminal. 2 skiffs came to within 300m of the vessel before aborting their approach. Both the vessel and crew are reported as safe.

(2) Incident Type : SUSPICIOUS APPROACH | Vessel Type : CARGO VESSEL
1830UTC | 07 December | Posn: 14-32.50N 042-47.30E | Al Hodeidah, Yemen

A sailing vessel has been approached 20nm Southwest of Hodeidah, by 2 skiffs with armed persons on board. The persons onboard the skiffs fired their weapons as a warning. The Master of the sailing vessel increased its speed and altered course which resulted in the skiffs aborting their approach.

(3) Incident Type : ATTACK | Vessel Type : CONTAINER VESSEL
0530UTC | 07 December | Posn: 03-31.00N 007-07.00E | Port Harcourt, Nigeria

A report has been issued stating that a container ship has been attacked whilst underway approximately 75nm south of Port Harcourt. 1 speedboat with 8 armed men onboard attempted to board the vessel but were unsuccessful. The vessel has been reported as safe.

(4) Incident Type : BOARD (ROBBERY) | Vessel Type : BARGE
2130UTC | 05 December | Posn: 21-52.35N 091-45.20E | Kutubdia Island, Bangladesh

Robbers were able to board a barge whilst under tow from a tug, 4nm West of Kutubdia Island. Once onboard the robbers stole items of the vessel's property and made their escape.
