(1) Incident Type : BOARD (ROBBERY) | Vessel Type : TANKER
0210UTC | 10 December | Posn: 06-19.00N 003-17.60E | Lagos Anchorage, Nigeria

Robbers boarded an anchored Singapore flagged tanker at Lagos anchorage. 3 robbers using ropes and hooks were able to board due to the low freeboard of the vessel. A duty crew member on the forecastle deck noticed movement nearby. Upon approaching the catwalk, he spotted 2 robbers lying on deck with the 3rd attempting to insert a hose into one of the vessel's tanks. The alarm was raised which resulted in the robbers jumping overboard. Nothing was reported stolen.

(2) Incident Type : ATTACK | Vessel Type : BULK CARRIER
1300UTC | 08 December | Posn: 04-11.21N 006-59.58E | Bonny Fairway Buoy, Nigeria

A Bulk carrier was attacked by pirates onboard 2 speed boats. 10 armed pirates were able to board the vessel using a ladder. A nearby Nigerian naval vessel was dispatched to support the bulk carrier and upon arrival the pirates had departed the vessel. The vessel is reported to have suffered minor damage to the bridge.

(3) Incident Type : BOARD (ROBBERY) | Vessel Type : CONTAINER VESSEL
1738UTC | 07 December | Posn: 14-35.78N 120-51.02E | Manila Anchorage, Philippines

Robbers were able to board an anchored container vessel at Manila anchorage. Duty crew spotted 3 robbers close to the forecastle and notified the officer of the watch. The alarm was raised and the crew mustered. Upon seeing the alerted crew, the robbers escaped with items of ship's property.
