A suspicious approach occurred on a Panama flagged chemical tanker whilst underway approximately 75nm east south east of Fujairah. A skiff approached the vessel within 100 meters. The embarked security team fired warning shots which resulted in the skiff moving away.

An attempted robbery occurred on board a Liberian flagged tanker whilst at anchor 12.5nm north east of Pulau Bintan. Upon hearing the ships alarm, the robber escaped on board a boat. No items were reported missing.
