Armed men on a speed boat boarded a passenger boat whilst underway carrying workers from Bonny to Port Harcourt in the early morning. All crew belongings were stolen including cash, mobile phones and other items. Due to the intervention of a local police boat, no crew or passengers were harmed or kidnapped. The robbers managed to escape from the scene.
