1020UTC | 06 March | Posn: 04-04.00N 006-56.00E | Bonny Fairway Bouy, Nigeria

A Maltese flagged tanker,  whilst underway 9nm Southwest of the Bonny Fairway Bouy, was attacked by 2 speedboats. Shots were fired at the vessel, resulting in bullet damage and broken windows on the bridge. At approximately 1245LT, the speedboats were spotted leaving the tanker at speed. The vessel and all crew are safe.

UNKNOWN | 04 March | Posn: 04-37.01N 006-46.63E | River State, Nigeria

A supply vessel was attacked whilst underway in the waterways, River State. The vessel departed Idamam and was in the Ekulama Axis vicinity when pirates opened fire. During the incident 1 Nigerian Mobile police personnel was killed and another injured. The pirates stole the Nigerian Mobile Police personnel's weapons before escaping.

1545UTC | 03 March | Posn: 06-02.9S 106-53.4E | Tanjung Priok Anchorage, Indonesia

The duty motorman onboard a bulk carrier at Tanjung Priok anchorage discovered 2 robbers on the aft deck of the vessel and immediately raised the alarm. Upon seeing the alerted crew, the robbers fled in a waiting boat. A search of the vessel revealed that nothing had been stolen.
