(1) Incident Type : ATTACK | Vessel Type : CARGO VESSEL
0436UTC | 07 April | Posn: 03-37.00N 007-07.00E | South of Bonny River, Nigeria

A Panamanian flagged cargo vessel was attacked approximately 50nm south of Bonny River, Nigeria. 4 pirates managed to board the vessel. All crew members, a total of 8, have managed to retreat to the Citadel but the Captain remained on the bridge. The cargo vessel and crew are now reported as safe and are heading back to Onne.

(2) Incident Type : BOARD (ROBBERY) | Vessel Type : BULK CARRIER
2005UTC | 04 April | Posn: 00-15.41S 117-34.18E | Muara Berau Anchorage, Indonesia

Robbers managed to board an anchored bulk carrier whilst cargo operations were ongoing in Muara Berau anchorage. They broke into the ship's forepeak store, stole ship's properties and escaped unnoticed. The crew spotted a suspicious boat in the area of the vessel and informed the duty officer.
