A robber was able to board a tanker whilst anchored at Lagos Port. A duty crew member spotted the perpetrator lowering a rubber hose into one of the vessel's cargo tanks and raised the alarm. Upon
realising he had been spotted, the robber jumped into the sea and escaped into a boat waiting alongside the tanker with 7 other persons onboard. Nothing was reported stolen.
