0502UTC | 04 July | Posn: 13-33.20N 042-40.10E | Northwest of Mocha, Yemen

A vessel was attacked whilst underway, 36nm Northwest of Mocha. 3 white and blue hulled skiffs, each with up to 8 persons on board approached the vessel and the occupants opened fire. The Armed Security Team onboard the vessel returned fire, resulting in the skiffs aborting their attack. The vessel and crew are reported safe.

Robbers were able to board an anchored bulk carrier at Chittagong Anchorage. 8 robbers armed with knives boarded the vessel using ropes attached to hooks. The perpetrators were able to restrain the duty
watchman before making their escape with the bulk carrier's aft mooring ropes.
