Robbers were able to board an anchored tanker conducting STS operations at Lagos Anchorage. Duty crew spotted 2 perpetrators on the forecastle and raised the alarm. Upon hearing the alarm, the robbers jumped overboard and escaped empty handed into 2 small boats. All the crew were reported safe.
