(1) Incident Type : BOARD (ROBBERY) | Vessel Type: PASSENGER BOAT
UNKNOWN | 01 October | Posn: 04-43.00N 007-02.00E | Isaka, Nigeria

A robbery occurred on a passenger boat whilst underway between Membe and Okrika near Isaka. The robbers stole passengers valuables at gun point and then fled the area. No casualties were reported.

(2) Incident Type : ATTACK | Vessel Type: NOT APPLICABLE
UNKNOWN | 29 September | Posn: 05-15.00N 006-15.00E | Ndokwa, Nigeria

Pirates launched an attack on the Police Divisional Headquarters at Aboh, Ndokwa, East Local Government Area. The attackers were dressed in army uniforms and managed to kill 2 police officers during the incident. Another police officer was critically injured. The attack occurred in the early hours with the attackers firing on the police officers who were on duty at the station. The attackers made their getaway with a quantity of ammunition and an engine they managed to steal from a patrol boat.

(3) Incident Type : BOARD (ROBBERY) | Vessel Type: DRILLING RIG
1930UTC | 25 September | Posn: 01-20.02N 104-14.81E | Johor, Malaysia

Robbers were able to board a drilling rig 2nm Southeast of Tanjung Bulat. 2 robbers armed with swords boarded the rig and restrained 2 security guards. The robbers stole their personal belongings and communications equipment before making their escape. Staff from the shore arrived and released the security guards after they had failed to check in.

(4) Incident Type : BOARD (ROBBERY) | Vessel Type: TUG
0330UTC | 07 September | Posn: 04-55.00N 001-43.00W | Takoradi Anchorage, Ghana

A robber was able to board a tug whilst anchored at Takoradi Anchorage. 1 robber was discovered trying to steal a high-pressure washer by 2 crew members. The robber threatened the crew members with a knife and escaped with the stolen washer into a waiting boat. Port control were informed, a security vessel was dispatched and the robber was apprehended.
