Robbers boarded an anchored cargo vessel at Takoradi anchorage using the anchor chain. A security patrol observed the robbers and immediately raised the alarm. Upon realising they had been discovered, the robbers escaped empty handed.

A robbery took place on a passenger boat whilst underway in the waterways between Ekeni and Ezetu. The robbers stole possessions from all the passengers before escaping.
