(1) Incident Type : ROBBERY Robbers in a canoe boarded an offshore supply vessel, berthed at Federal Light Terminal Onne
Port. The on-board duty crew did not detect the robbers as they boarded, but they were observed by the Port Security
Services who alerted the Nigerian Navy. As the Naval patrol approached, the robbers escaped in their canoe and the
Naval patrol gave chase. The robbers jumped into the water and swam to the shore leaving tins of paint on board their
abandoned canoe
