(1) Incident Type : SUSPICIOUS APPROCH A vessel has sent a distress call while positioned 6nm Southeast of Calabar Fairway Buoy. It has been reported that the vessel involved in this incident was a Cargo vessel, she was approached by what was described as fishing canoes. The Captain carried out Anti-Piracy actions, resulting in the incident now being over and she is continuing on her voyage.
