A vessel has been approached whilst underway approximately 63nm southeast of Aden, Yemen. 5 skiffs approached the vessel with 1 skiff closing to within 0.2nm before all 5 skiffs moved away.

A Tanker was attacked approximately 70nm south of Cotonou, Benin. 1 skiff with armed persons onboard shot towards her while she was underway. The Tanker aborted the attack and now classed as safe.

A tanker was attacked whilst underway approximately 98nm southwest of Cotonou.The vessel was approached by two skiffs. The pirates on 1 skiff opened fire at the vessel, resulting in damage to both the bridge and port side. The crew mustered inthe citadel whilst the vessel carried out evasive manoeuvres. The skiffs aborted the approach and all crew are reported safe.

A robbery occurred on a container ship whilst anchored at Vung Tau Anchorage. Up to 8 robbers were spotted onboard by duty crew. The alarm was raised which resulted in the robbers escaping into a small
boat after jumping overboard. A full search of the vessel was conducted which confirmed 12 cans of paint had been stolen from the paint store.
